Winner Announced: North American Utility Vehicle of the Year, 2023 Car and Driver 10Best Trucks and SUVs Award

The Kia EV6 went on sale in early 2022 and is rising in popularity – and it just won its first awards. The EV6 was named North American Utility Vehicle of the Year by a jury of 50 automotive experts – the first win for a Kia electric vehicle and the second time in four years for Kia overall. The judges picked winners based on automotive innovation, design, safety features, performance, technology, driver satisfaction, user experience and value.
The EV6 was also named along with the Kia Telluride to the 2023 Car and Driver 10Best Trucks and SUVs. The award for the Telluride marks its fourth time on the list in four years, making it one of the few vehicles to be named a 10Best Award winner for each year it has been on sale. The 2023 honor for the EV6 is the first win for a Kia electric vehicle on the highly selective 10Best Awards list. The EV6 and Telluride were recognized for their respective class-leading attributes, where they had to perform better than their competitors, offer great value and be entertaining to drive.
